1. What GetAPage is

GetAPage helps a local shop get a simple one-page website live on a domain in the shop’s name. Public contact: hello@getapage.ca. GetAPage is operated as a BotBuhdy.com business.

2. Sample pages

Template paths on getapage.ca (plumbing, electrical, and similar) are fictional samples for preview only. They are not real businesses, not endorsements, and usually marked so search engines do not treat them as live shops. Do not treat sample names, phones, or addresses as real.

3. Standard $400 offer (one-page)

• $400 covers one existing-template page, adapted with your shop details (photos, hours, address, phone, and what you want said).
• You buy and own the domain (usually a .ca or .com). Domain registration cost is separate and paid to the registrar, not included in the $400.
• Flow: preview on a GetAPage link → you approve → you pay → the page moves to your domain.

3b. Custom / multi-page quotes

Need more than one page — a menu, gallery, booking flow, online shop, or anything that is not a stock one-page template? That is a custom quote, not another $400 sticker price.

• Email hello@getapage.ca with what you need; we price scope before work starts.
• Same basics as the standard offer: you own the domain, sample shops on getapage.ca are not real businesses, and we do not guarantee leads or rankings.
• Multi-page or custom work may be built by GetAPage / BotBuhdy tooling (including AI-assisted builds). Scope and price are agreed in email before we begin.

4. Optional upkeep

Optional $25/month upkeep is available if you want ongoing small edits and basic care. It is not required for the page to stay online after go-live. If you skip upkeep, you are responsible for future changes and hosting renewals on your account.

5. Help for charities & assistive orgs

If you are a local charity or assistive organization helping people in need, you are welcome to ask for help creating a website. When capacity allows, GetAPage is glad to build a simple website at no charge — hours, how to get help, donate, volunteer, whatever neighbours need to see.

We will do what we reasonably can. Timing, scope, and whether we can take a request still sit with GetAPage — this is goodwill, not a wait-list right or a promise of turnaround. Larger or more complex projects may still need a quote or wait until we have room. Shops and other businesses use the usual $400 one-page offer (or a custom quote).

6. What we do not promise

• No guarantee of phone calls, customers, rankings, ads performance, or “being found on Google.”
• No guarantee that third-party tools (Maps, hosting, email, DNS) stay free or unchanged.
• We do not provide legal, accounting, accessibility certification, or regulated professional advice.
• After handoff, accuracy of hours, prices, licenses, and claims on the page is your responsibility — tell us if something needs fixing while you are on upkeep.

7. Your content & conduct

You must have the right to use photos and text you send. Do not ask us to publish anything unlawful, misleading, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may refuse or take down a page that creates clear legal or safety risk.

8. Payment & issues

Work for a paid shop page generally starts after approval and payment of the $400 go-live fee, unless we agree otherwise in writing (email is fine). If something is wrong with the delivered page, email hello@getapage.ca promptly and we will work in good faith to fix it. Refunds are handled case by case.

9. Limitation of liability

GetAPage and BotBuhdy provide the service “as is” within the scope above. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost leads, business interruption, or indirect damages arising from use of a page, downtime, DNS mistakes, third-party outages, or reliance on sample content. Our total liability for a paid job is limited to the fees you paid us for that job in the prior 12 months.

Nothing here limits rights you cannot waive under Canadian or Ontario consumer law.

10. Privacy & contact

We use details you send (name, email, phone, address, photos) only to build and support your page and to reply to you. We do not sell your list. Questions or corrections: hello@getapage.ca.

11. Changes

We may update these terms on this page. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use of getapage.ca or ordering work after a change means you accept the updated terms for new work.
